Founded in 2015, Hello Health Group or HHG is a Vietnam-based company specializing in health & wellness information platforms and services. Starting with its first Vietnamese digital health information platform - HelloBacsi, HHG has been providing a portal of healthcare news and information and offering users booking services with top local health professionals.
HHG has also built up an active health community for users to exchange knowledge and experience related to health issues. Since its establishment, HHG has expanded its footprint to 8 different markets in Asia, including Indonesia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Taiwan, India, and the Philippines, with localized platforms.
HHG harbors the ambition to lead the Asian area in the democratization of the health and wellness industry and empower worldwide users to make informed decisions related to their health. For over seven years in the industry, HHG has become the leading healthcare knowledge and service ecosystem in Asia, with more than 32 million monthly users and still growing.
On the journey to expanding the business to multiple Asian markets, HHG aimed to develop and launch an MVP version of its digital health information platform in Indonesia. Therefore, the company sought additional development resources to boost its IT workforce and build up a dedicated team for the upcoming plan.
After in-depth research and considering multiple vendors, Hello Health Group approached Orient Software for our IT staff augmentation service.
After discussing HHG’s requirements, Orient Software convened a dedicated team of developers with solid expertise and experience in frontend development, and they are also experts in ReactJS and PHP. The final goal was to keep both teams on the same page to conduct the project well and keep up with the deadline.
As planned, the extended team worked closely with the backend developers of the HHG counterpart. In addition, our team gave suggestions on optimizing the UI/UX design and developing new features during the development process of the MVP system. Our team not only managed to get up to the speed with the progress but also finished tasks prior to the deadline, resulting in high productivity and quality as expected. Thanks to the good performance of our team, HHG was able to speed up the development process and accomplish the progress goal (1 sprint per week).
With a dedicated team in place, HHG was able to launch the MVP version of its digital health information and service platform successfully. The user experience and user interface of this version gained satisfaction from end-users in the targeted market. The success of this project not only opened more opportunities for HHG to dominate the Indonesian healthcare market but also set the foundation for the expansion of HHG throughout Asia in the future. Post-launching, our team continued to maintain the system and work on regular updates (1 sprint per 2 weeks).
