People & Culture Assistant
About the Role
The People & Culture Operation Assistant provides day-to-day HR operational support for the Australia-client project team. The role ensures smooth execution of the member lifecycle, supports performance and engagement programs, and maintains accurate people data across both Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.
You’ll work closely with the People & Culture Lead and cross-functional teams to deliver key operational and administrative HR processes.
Responsibilities:
As the right hand to the People & Culture Lead, you will:
- Oversee recruitment activities - partnering with Australia hiring managers and the Vietnam recruitment team to ensure a smooth and timely hiring process that meets compliance requirements.
- Manage new member onboarding - ensuring documentation is complete, organizing new hire orientation, and coordinating the probation review process.
- Support the performance review cycle - communicating key timelines, process steps, and providing advice when needed.
- Assist in rolling out people's experience surveys - helping interpret results and co-develop action plans with managers.
- Gather and maintain People & Culture data for reports, background checks, due diligence (COI), and emerging HR trends.
- Organize social and engagement activities such as seasonal team events, sports activities, and the annual year-end party or/and annual team building.
- Collaborate with the Admin team on ad-hoc people-related initiatives including work visa coordination, legislative updates, policy reviews, logistics, townhalls, and special projects.
You’ll also:
- Act as the first contact point for member queries and HR-related requests.
- Draft HR announcements and internal communications.
- Support payroll data validation and people with dashboard reporting.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Support exit interviews and ensure a smooth offboarding experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in HR operations, HR admin, or coordination roles.
- Ability to work with HRMS and, advanced skills in using Microsoft Office suite of tools;
- Well-developed communications skills (written and oral) with the ability to get point of view across clearly and concisely;
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Good command of English (both written and spoken).
