ReactJS/Capacitor Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable cloud services across our tech stack: TypeScript, React Create new customer value in small increments, delivered continuously to production.
  • Work closely with product managers and designers to solve open-ended customer problems.
  • Collaborate across teams on larger initiatives, technical improvements, and production operations.
  • Mentor and support other engineers while creating a safe and inclusive environment for our diverse team.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

  • At least 3 years of experience in Front-end Development using ReactJS.
  • React.js Mastery: Strong proficiency in React.js and core concepts (Hooks, Component Lifecycle, State Management with Redux/Zustand/Context API).
  • Capacitor Expertise: Proven professional experience using the Capacitor framework for mobile application development and deployment.
  • Native Toolchain Experience: Hands-on experience working in both the Xcode (macOS required) and Android Studio environments for debugging, configuration, and building.
  • Mobile Lifecycle Knowledge: Direct experience successfully submitting and maintaining apps in both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
  • Web Fundamentals: Deep understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3, with a strong focus on responsive design.
  • APIs & Data: Experience integrating web applications with RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data flows.
  • Dev Tools: Proficiency with Git, NPM/Yarn, and module bundlers like Webpack/Vite.
  • (Nice to have) Familiarity with writing custom native code for Capacitor plugins (Swift/Kotlin).
  • (Nice to have) Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Jest, Detox).
  • (Nice to have) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile (e.g., Fastlane, GitHub Actions)

Soft Skills:

  • Good English communication skills.
  • Passion for creating user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
